Having (and Thinking about) Digital Sex

Join us on 12th February in the DHSS Hub seminar for a lecture by Dr. Dana Kaplan and Dr. Ye'Ela Lahav-Raz, who will discuss their ongoing research (funded by grants from the ISF as well as the DHSS Hub). Their research focuses on how digital sociality has transformed human sexuality. In their research they investigate the kinds of digital sexual interactions in several social media platforms, employing various of methodologies, such as digital ethnography, interviews and computational analysis of texts and images.

The event will take place this February and will include a full day of workshops and lectures, such as on AI prompt engineering with affinity to research, computational research tools, as well as inspiring lectures from leading researchers in digital humanities & social sciences. The M.A students will have an opportunity to network with peers and experienced professionals, as well as provide them with hands-on experience on how advanced technological tools can enhance research capabilities and impact both the academic world and their future careers.
